Little girls dream about castle weddings.

Little girls always seem to have dream wedding ideas from when they are children. I know that as a child me and my girlfriends used to chat about the type of fairytale dress that we wanted and we always wanted a Cinderella style castle wedding. It is funny how ideas can change as you get older. I can now think of nothing worse than 12 bright pink bridesmaids and arriving in a carriage! I guess fashions change. It is now much more popular to have a destination wedding where the bride, groom and guests all travel somewhere and have a holiday together with the wedding taking part during that time. I would not like this as I know that many of my family and friends could not afford to come with me. I would rather have a traditional Michigan wedding and then go away for a private holiday – it does seem odd to have all of the wedding guests on honeymoon with you!
