How to Pass the CISSP Exam

If you are trying to find out how to pass the CISSP exam, you do not have to spend thousands of dollars or hundreds of minutes looking up strategies on the Internet.  There are thousands of training of sites and programs that claim that they can help a candidate make their certification goals with little or no effort.  No single resource or CISSP training course can give you the magic ticket to pass the exam. Your success in passing a CISSP training course comes from your real-life experiences and your commitment to not only use one strategy but many strategies to pass the exam.  You need to have plenty of academics behind you even to apply for the exam.  You need three years of working experience and sometimes a degree even to get your foot in the door.

To begin with, you have to know that there are 10 domains or areas of expertise in the common knowledge areas for a CISSP certification. Most security professionals are familiar with anywhere from two to seven of these domains and they do not spend much time on the others.  Whatever domains you are not spending time on, you need to start spending some time of your working day or your off time to spend and those domains which you are not familiar with.  That does not mean you have to ignore the other domains that you work with everyday.  Set yourself up with a steady schedule that will not only allow you to work with familiar domains but a schedule will also allow you to concentrate on those domains you are less familiar with.  With the proper schedule, motivation, and true determination, you will be able to pass the CISSP exam without problems.
