Florida Baseball Camp Uses Internet, Games More Customers
Every business should have an Internet presence, even a Florida baseball camp would need a website where potential customers could go to find information regarding dates for camp, what the camp is all about and other pertinent information needed to sign their children up for a week of fun baseball instructions.
Having an Internet presence is important for all businesses because the Internet is the first place most people turn to search for what they are looking for, especially something in the real world. The phonebook is obsolete and outdated. If the company someone is looking for is in another state, the local phonebook is of no use.
If someone wants to open their own baseball franchise, then the Internet would be the most likely place to begin a search for a franchise opportunity rather than the local newspaper ads which would not be able to provide you all the information you need regarding a franchise opportunity such as one for a baseball or softball camp.
A real-world store or business must have a web presence in order to gain more targeted customers - customers who are looking for exactly what you have to offer - as visitors to their website. Targeted customers are more likely to purchase what you have to offer than those who just stumbled upon your website through various other websites.
Once you have a user friendly website that announces all your products and services and if possible is interactive, in which customers or clients can schedule their own week of baseball camp, then it is time to make sure your website is accepted onto the three major search engines - MSN, Google and Yahoo!
In order to be accepted into the three major search engines, a website must use search engine optimization or SEO which is article writing using keywords that search engines use to rank websites according to the use and amount of keywords present on their website. In addition, these articles should be informative and helpful to potential customers to help them make up their minds to choose your company over your competition.
Another marketing method that uses written articles that are keyword rich is hyperlinking to another relevant website. This means that certain keywords within the articles are highlighted and then made clickable as a shortcut to another website that offers something relevant such as baseball gloves, cleats or other baseball equipment or uniforms. However, an article exchange does not always have to be with a relevant website, an article exchange regarding your baseball franchise could be done with a local pizza parlor where kids might hang out after baseball camp.
No matter what business you might own, having a website with information regarding that business will be more helpful to your customers or potential customers than having a phonebook advertisement alone.
