Washington DC Dentist Uses Internet to Gain Targeted Customers

A Washington DC cosmetic dentist should have an Internet website as well as their real-world brick-and-mortar location in order to bring more targeted customers to their real-world location.  Targeted customers are customers who are looking for what a DC dentist has to offer.

 

In order to bring more targeted customers to the real-world brick-and-mortar location through the Internet or online store, a DC dentist should use several Internet marketing techniques to bring more customers to their website.

 

The first and most important marketing technique a real-world business should employ on the Internet is search engine optimization or SEO.  Search engine optimization is taking a keyword rich article and placing it on the DC dentist’s website in order for the three major search engines - Google, Yahoo!, and MSN - that send out “feelers” to pick up the keywords or keyword phrases and then rank the website according to a special formula.  Keywords or keyword phrases are the words customers use in the search boxes on the search engines to find what they need or want.  A business website wants to have a high ranking website on the major search engines because the majority of customers turn to the Internet when looking for what they want or need before turning to any other media, including the phonebook.

 

Once a keyword rich article has been written, it can be used in other places on the Internet to market and promote a Washington DC dentist.  A DC dentist could participate in an article exchange with another website that may or may not be relevant to dentistry.  For example, many people want their teeth to be whiter to look and feel youthful again.  An article could be written about cosmetic dentistry helping a person to look and feel youthful. Then this article could be traded with an Internet website that promotes human growth hormones that also help people to look youthful and feel younger.

 

Another place a keyword rich article could help a DC dentist through Internet marketing would be either a blog or an Internet news website.  Blogs are no longer considered places to whine about one’s day or list the foods they ate for the week.  Many businesses are using blogs to introduce new potential customers to their products and services.  Internet news websites are often overlooked because businesses feel they do not have something new to offer; however Internet news websites will take informative and well-written articles to fill their website on slow news days or just to help introduce their readers to new and exciting businesses, services and products.

 

By having an Internet website connection, a Washington DC dentist can introduce their products or services to thousands more customers than with traditional marketing methods alone.
