Hair Replacement Company Uses Internet; Reaches Targeted Customers

A hair replacement company just like a smoothie franchise, are both real-world brick-and-mortar businesses; however they both need an Internet presence to reach more targeted customers because more people today look to the Internet to search for what they want or wh need.

An Internet presence could take the form of a website or an online store in order to reach customers who use the Internet search sites such as Google, Yahoo!, and MSN.  When a hair replacement company puts keyword rich articles on their website they attract these three major search engines that have sent out their “feelers” so that they could locate the keywords and keyword phrases within the articles among the websites and then rank the websites according to a special formula.  This process is known as search engine optimization or SEO.  Keywords and keyword phrases are the words potential customers use in the search boxes on the search engines in order to find what they need or want.

In addition, there is search engine optimization or its local search optimization which has a consumer placing a geographical location along with a word or keyword phrase in the search box on the search engines in order to narrow down the search for what they need or want in an area. For example, if they’re looking for a hair replacement company in St. Louis they would place ‘St. Louis hair replacement’ in the search box on the search engine so that the major search engines would use the local directories to bring back a list of websites for hair replacement companies in the St. Louis area only and not those all over the world.

Search engine optimization is a free and automatic service to all websites on the Internet no matter what they have to offer the purchasing public as long as the website contains keyword which are usually in the form of articles.  A hair replacement company could write articles about hair replacement surgery, how it is done and criteria are needed by the patient in order for them to undergo this type of surgery.  Someone from the hair replacement company could write the article themselves or have it written by an SEO/keyword expert.

The Internet is a powerful place to market a business because it offers more than a simple phone number like the phone book does or perhaps a map to the location and hours of operation like a newspaper advertisement might have.  And most radio and television commercial spots are cost prohibitive for many small businesses and are usually reserved for big-budget productions of major name brand merchandise.

By having an Internet presence in addition to their real world brick-and-mortar location and using search engine optimization, a hair replacement company could increase their revenue without spending a lot of money.
